Full time - Videographer

Job Description

The Hype Factory is an exciting multimedia company based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Started from a love of all things video, we have expanded into a team of young videographers, photographers, editors and creatives. We work alongside some of Northern Ireland’s largest companies in a range of different sectors delivering engaging and thought-provoking content.

Due to our growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Videographer to join our team in a full-time role, based out of our Belfast office. This role is primarily focused on filming and editing video. We are after someone who is as excited about video as us and interested in bringing something new to our projects. .

Role will involve:

  • Shooting videos for a wide range of clients

  • Editing their own videos and others from the team

  • Working to a storyboard and brief

  • Working with Creative Director to come up with unique ideas with material provided

  • Provide creative input throughout the project life cycle

  • Be a self-starter, capable of working independently, and be motivated to succeed

  • A willingness to work long hours as needed, often under pressure

  • Working alongside other videographers & editors on projects

  • Working alongside external freelancers

  • Assisting with pitching and quotation on new projects

  • Managing own projects if required

  • Helping out on shoots if required

Essential Criteria:

  • At least 2 years prior experience

  • Highly skilled in Final Cut Pro X

  • Skilled in the entire Adobe CC suite ( Adobe After Effects, Premier, Photoshop, Illustrator etc )

  • Strong portfolio of previous work

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under time pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

  • Loves new technology and trends and constantly seek opportunities to improve your art/design/animation skills

  • Motion graphics experience is favored, however not mandatory
